  14. I did not recieve any responses last time so here it goes again.

  16. I have a A2000/040 with a Grandslam2000 controller.
  17. There is a Q105, a Q240 and a Connor 1080S on the GS.
  18.  
  19. The problem is that i cannot delete files from the connor, the computer
  20. either hangs or display a "task dh2 failed" error. it is strange because
  21. i HAD a C540 working before and then it began to fail like this new one.
  22. So i sent the C540 back and upgraded to the C1080S, and this new one fails
  23. the same.
  24. I can: copy to it and read from it but not delete.

  26. I have tried: changing SCSI ID, lowered the MAX TRANSFER, changed the 
  27. buffers, changed place on the cable, changed termination, run it alone,
  28. run it on a clean WB, installed older filesystems, switched of the 040.
  29.  
  30. I have tried formatting with: HD-toolbox, TCUTILS 2.3 & 2.5 and HDinsttools
  31. that came with Tandem.

  34.  I have even run 4 different memory tests, no memory errors.

  36. I have tried HD-toolbox, Quarterback tools, Amiback tools, Disksalv,
  37. and some other programs to diagnose the drive. None of them reports any 
  38. errors on the drive.

  40. It can't be any wrong with the controller because the 2 other drives work.
  41. And the old Connor 540 used to work.

  43. The problems came about the same time i installed AmiFileSafe Pro, but i
  44. have thrown that out and installed FFS again.
  45.  
  46. My last idea might be that i have a too weak powersupply.
  47. I have 4 HDs, 1 tape, 1 cdrom, PP&S040 w32 MB, GS2000 w 6Mb, V-LAB, 
  48. PicassoII and a Tandem card all on a standard A2000/200W supply.
